The Greek word, “Rhema”, is the spoken word of God.

“Logos”, however, is the written word. – the Bible.

The “Rhema” AND the “Logos” are both God’s word, but reading the “Logos” is what will lead you to hearing God yourself, through the Holy Spirit.

Hearing God YOURSELF is RECEIVING the “Rhema” Word of God.

John 10:27-28, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.“

Rhema is whenever the Holy Spirit, or Jesus Himself, speaks to you through your mind, or at times, an audible voice.

Know that Rhema is the flow of Christ’s life source to us – without hearing God, we don’t have as much of Him as we might think we do…

Rhema is hearing God for yourself.

The word “prophecy” is simply hearing God and reciting what it is He has already spoken.

The Word of God goes out and creates a form, or a GROUNDS, in which a physical manifestation, which always bears GOOD FRUIT, can be grown on.

“Prophecy” can sometimes involve predicting the future, but it’s not exclusive of predictions.

Prophecy, in original meaning, means the bubbling up of water in a geyser, like a spring spewing fresh water.

John 4:14 – “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

This is because water symbolizes the Word – living things cannot live without water.

So when prophecy comes, it is like the Word springing out of the Holy Spirit into your mind.

John 7:38 – “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Let me help you – to drink the water is to DO what it is HE has TOLD YOU to do, through the RHEMA Word of God, in other words – this is OBEDIENCE.

Did you happen to know that God prefers obedience to your religious activities (otherwise known as sacrifice), (1 Samuel 20-22).

Don’t act holy, instead do what He’s telling you to do through the Rhema Word of God (2 Timothy 3:5). Stay humble!

You, at times, have to POSITION yourself to RECEIVE the Word through a sort of meditation-like practice (Psalm 119:97), sitting still, speaking with Him, and most importantly, opening your mind and soul to receive from Heaven.

Journaling what God has told you is a great way to enter into deeper communion with Him.

Writing helps me to track God’s Rhema spoken Word – because I am POSITIONED to record what He has told me, and get deeper in thought/conversation with God because I’m writing down His Words and can see everything before me – it works amazingly, especially by looking back at whatever He has already said.

Even me writing this bog, and having this website complete, is a part of what He has counseled me to do, that I’ve written down and prayed for the grace to continue in.

God is faithful to accomplish what He has already spoken.

As Prophect Lovy Elias, my prophetic mentor online, has taught me – prophecy is knowing God’s mind in a matter.

Really, our lives are a lot more prophetic than we can even think or imagine.

^ This is because a lot of the sacred spiritual knowledge is lost, or kept hidden by those with agendas for control.

The people in high places, like government, control what we think and therefore do through the auditing and facillitating of knowledge, or lack thereof through “education”, and by keeping deeper thing secrets.

We can only take action in what we know, so therefore we are kept ignorant by not being taught much about spiritual topics, especially in church.

Ignorant roots produce ignorant fruits – and this is happening in mass scale!

The control of knowledge, worldwide, and through institutions like public or even private schools, with curriculums, are methods of mental slavery and control, for as a man thinketh they shall be (Proverbs 23:7).

If the worldwide system PROGRAMS our mindsets through curated information, our minds’ will CONTINUE to keep living based on the WAY of THINKING with which we are PROGRAMMED…

That’s the Truth.

Pharisees and saducees will say “no, no, no, it’s not like this (spiritual thing they don’t understand, because they are thinking carnally), instead it’s like this (wrong misunderstanding because they are thinking they know, but in reality they know very little).

So, in all things, especially hearing and UNDERSTANDING the Rhema Word of God, we must humble our own spirit – humbling your own spirit is an action you take within yourself, bringing your own spirit down low.

For if your spirit is too exalted within yourself, you will even reject what God is telling you – it happens all the time.

Your spirit is very much like a muscle – when you exercise it, it becomes STRONGER – so you must practice and excercise spiritual things, most of all OBEYING what He has previously told you (this is truly being spirit-led), and He will CONTINUE to feed your spirit.

It’s like a river – if you dam it up the flow of the Spirit by not obeying the LAST Word, then the flow of the words will stop.

You have to work through your pipeline of commands from the Lord by praying He help you to accomplish what it is He told you.

In whatever He has told you, the GRACE of God is CERTAINLY present to make it happen!

I see a major problem in the church, especially in luke-warm and complacent American Christianity, which I myself have willingly been a part of for far too long, so I’m not only criticizing a main part of “the church”, but also myself, for the problem(s) with religion are similar to the problem(s) with man and humanity, being fallen as a whole –

The problem is we don’t LISTEN to God.

Apart from hearing God, LISTENING is actually doing what He’s said, with understanding that He is a GOOD God and will make what He has said FRUITFUL.

This is for a few reasons that I’ve noticed.

1. We don’t believe God speaks, because we weren’t taught as such.

2. We think God only speaks through the Bible.

3. We can’t pick up when God is speaking.

4. God doesn’t want to speak to us, sometimes because we have not obeyed what He has already told us to do.

5. We believe God speaks, but we doubt our ability to hear Him.

6. We are afraid to hear from Him, so we block Him out, even when we do believe we have heard Him.

7. We don’t have the spiritual capacity within ourselves to maintain the Word of God into fruition – in other words, we are too babied, spiritually. It’s like the seed “of the Word of God” falling on bad ground (Matthew 13:3-7).

All of this has grown a stagnancy in the way we are taught to “do church”.

But what I say is this, how can you expect to have a relationship with anyone or ANY THING, unless you actually communicate?

Yet, you don’t hear God, because you honestly think you know too much, even of the Bible, to hear God for yourself.

You don’t believe God still speaks, yet you believe in God?

You might believe that God EXISTS, but you don’t BELIEVE God.

You might know OF God, but you don’t really KNOW God.

There’s a big difference – but hearing the Rhema Word of God can change all of that.

It’s pretty sad that many “Christians”, for one reason or another, reject the Rhema Word of God in their own lives.

In this Elijah generation, which hearkens unto the voice of God and draws all mankind unto Christ before His soon-second coming, more and more people will know that God speas, and have the spiritual aptitude within themselves to seek and crave the voice of God in their lives.

You cannot have a relationship without communication – what sort of relationship is it when you don’t speak to someone?

A stagnant relationship.

Even when water remains stagnant, say in a pond, it starts to ROT.

Is it POSSIBLE your RELATIONSHIP with God is DEAD, though you might go to church every Sunday?

When Jesus teaches us to pray, “give us this day our daily bread”, He means “give me the rhema for TODAY!”

Because the Word is true drink and true food for us (John 6:55).

Communication with Christ is what creates life-giving streams and nutrients, food, drinks, meat, not just baby’s milk to the believer.

This is how you can become a true and living sacrifice.

If you’ve read this far, let me tell you a secret to end with-

You can bear better fruit, and MORE fruit, you will lead MORE people to Christ by doing what God has PERSONALLY told you to do, by His Rhema Word of God, than by striving in your religious activity to follow a form that has been imposed on you by the religious Church.
